Hi, I’m Tonya!
My passion for calligraphy didn't start until the year 2020. Christmas of 2020, I was buying some stocking stuffers for the family. I found a brush letting kit and thought I would grab one to throw in my stocking.
You see, in 1986, when I was 3, I lost my mother. She was only 31 yrs old. But, by that time she was already a pro at calligraphy. With my dad never threw anything away, I always found her writing on papers and boards. I thought if I learned calligraphy, I would somehow become closer to her. After 2 years, I am officially in loved with my new passion.
I can now see why she loved it so much! I continue my journey of calligraphy, and with my passion of teaching, I created this workshop to help beginners just like you to start their own journey!
